Fake accounts: Zardari, Talpur ordered to ensure appearance on April 16
5 Years agoRAWALPINDI: Former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur on Monday appeared before an accountability court in the fake bank accounts case.
Accountability Judge Arshad Malik extended interim bail granted to the PPP leaders till April 16.
At the outset of the hearing, Advocate Farooq H Naek, who represented the PPP leaders, pointed to the overcrowded courtroom, asking the judge to grant the former president and his sister exemption from personal appearance to avoid this situation and ensure smooth trial proceedings in the case.
