Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الصَّوَّافُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِير، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِنَا فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُسْمِعُنَا الْآيَةَ أَحْيَانًا .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر کی پہلی دونوں رکعتوں میں ( سری ) قراءت فرماتے تھے، اور کبھی کبھی ہمیں کوئی آیت سنا دیا کرتے تھے ا؎۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite when leading us in the first two Rak’ah of the Zuhr prayer, and sometimes he would recite such that we could hear the Verse.” .
