حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخُو سُلَيْمٍ الْقَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لِيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ قُرَّاؤُكُمْ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے اچھے لوگ اذان دیں، اور جو لوگ قاری عالم ہوں وہ امامت کریں ۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Let the best of you give the call to prayer (Adhan), and let those who are most versed in the Qur'an lead you in prayer.' .
