Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّينَارِ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الدِّرْهَمِ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الْخَمِيصَةِ،‏‏‏‏ تَعِسَ وَانْتَكَسَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِذَا شِيكَ فَلَا انْتَقَشَ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہلاک ہوا دینار کا بندہ، درہم کا بندہ اور شال کا بندہ، وہ ہلاک ہو اور ( جہنم میں ) اوندھے منہ گرے، اگر اس کو کوئی کانٹا چبھ جائے تو کبھی نہ نکلے ۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Wretched is the slave of the Dinar, the slave of the Dirham and the slave of the Khamisah. He is wretched and will be thrown (into Hell) on his face, and if he is pricked with a thorn may find no relief.” .
