Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ لَيْثٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ زِيَادِ سَيْمِينْ كُوشْ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ تَسْتَنْظِفُ الْعَرَبَ قَتْلَاهَا فِي النَّارِ،‏‏‏‏ اللِّسَانُ فِيهَا أَشَدُّ مِنْ وَقْعِ السَّيْفِ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایک فتنہ ایسا ہو گا جو سارے عرب کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لے گا، اس میں قتل ہونے والے سب جہنمی ہوں گے، اس فتنہ میں زبان تلوار کی کاٹ سے زیادہ موثر ہو گی ۱؎۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There will be a tribulation which will utterly destroy the Arabs, and those who are slain will be in Hell. At that time the tongue will be worse than a blow of the sword.” .
