Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِنْدَ وَفَاتِكُمْ بِثُلُثِ أَمْوَالِكُمْ زِيَادَةً لَكُمْ فِي أَعْمَالِكُمْ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہاری وفات کے وقت تم پر تہائی مال کا صدقہ کیا ہے، ( یعنی وصیت کی اجازت دی ہے ) تاکہ تمہارے نیک اعمال میں اضافہ ہو ۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah (SWT) has been charitable with you over the disposal of one third of your wealth at the time of your death, so that you may be able to add to the record of your good deeds.” .
