Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيُصَلِّ سَجْدَتَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص مسجد میں آئے تو اسے چاہیئے کہ وہ بیٹھنے سے پہلے دو رکعتیں ( تحیۃ المسجد ) پڑھ لے ۔

Haiwah bin Shuraih reported: I met Uqbah bin Muslim and said to him: it has been reported to me that someone has narrated to you from the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم that when he entered the mosque, he would say: I seek refuge in Allah, the Magnificent, and in His noble face, and in his eternal domain, from the accursed Devil. He asked: is it so much only? I said: Yes. He said: when anyone says so. The devil says: he is protected from me all the day long. .
