Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجّ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.

انہوں نے ابوبردہ انصاری سے سنا ہے وہ کہہ رہے تھے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے پھر انہوں نے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث ذکر کی۔

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Burdah al-Ansari through a different chain of narrators. This version has: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. .
