Hadith in Arabic

وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، بِمِثْلِهِ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ: «يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ»، وَقَالَ: بَدَلَ الْقِتَالِ: «الْقَتْلَ» وَقَالَ: «لَا يَلْتَقِطُ لُقَطَتَهُ إِلَّا مَنْ عَرَّفَهَا»

Hadith in Urdu

مفضل نے ہمیں منصور سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی کے مانند حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے جس دن سے اللہ تعا لیٰ نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا کے الفا ظ ذکر نہیں کیے ۔ قتال ( لڑائی ) کے بجا ئے قتل کا لفظ کہا اور کہا یہاں کی گری پڑی چیز اس شخص کے سوا جو اس کا اعلا ن کرے ، کو ئی نہ اٹھا ئے ۔

Hadith in English

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Mansur, but he did not mention: On that very day He created the heavens and the earth, and he (the narrator) substituted the word fighting (qital) for killing (qatl), and further said: No one is to pick up the dropped thing except one who makes a public announcement of it. .
