Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَا عُقُوبَةَ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ ضَرَبَاتٍ ، إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ .

Hadith in Urdu

آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ تعالیٰ کی حدود میں سے کسی حد کے سوا مجرم کو دس کوڑے سے زیادہ کی سزا نہ دی جائے۔“

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Jabir: On the authority of others, that the Prophet said, No Punishment exceeds the flogging of the ten stripes, except if one is guilty of a crime necessitating a legal punishment prescribed by Allah. .
