Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَ أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ أَنْ يُرِيَهُمْ آيَةً ، فَأَرَاهُمُ انْشِقَاقَ الْقَمَرِ .

مکہ والوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے معجزہ دکھانے کو کہا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں چاند کے پھٹ جانے کا معجزہ دکھایا۔
Hadith in English
Narrated Anas: The people of Mecca asked the Prophet to show them a sign (miracle). So he showed them (the miracle) of the cleaving of the moon. .
